Job description
Endpoint Security Support (Symantec EPP) Engineer (L2)
- Ensure that endpoint security solutions are integrated seamlessly.
- Conduct periodic risk, gap assessments, and communicate results to customers along with action plans to address identified risks and gaps.
- Major Version upgrades & Preventive maintenance (hotfix, security patches, service packs update).
- Creation and management of Policies approved by the customer.
- Implement tasks critical to a company’s Endpoint technologies.
- Lead and participate in Malware or Product outage calls.
- Handle all escalated issues from end user and customer SPOC.
- Create the Standard Operating Procedure and update the knowledge database documentation whenever required.
- Manage and update endpoint Security architecture documents (e.g., Runbook etc.)
- Report Endpoint Security Coverage & Compliance statistics reports on a weekly or monthly basis.
