Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and convert them into technical requirements for developers.
- Define project goals, objectives, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, and develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Lead and manage software development programs and projects, ensuring that they are completed within scope, schedule and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate and align cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, quality assurance professionals, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and execution of project tasks.
- Monitor and track project progress, risks, and issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks and resolve issues to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communicate updates and impacts to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with individual product managers and other stakeholders to define and prioritize software features and requirements, ensure that they are incorporated into the project plan.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process optimization, standardization, and automation, and implementing improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facilitate project meetings, reviews, and retrospectives, and provide clear and concise reports and presentations to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and partners, to ensure successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in E&C.
- Domain expertise in either Radio, transport or Core domain.
- Worked in either Planning, Strategy OR Operations field in telecom domain of any organization.
- Experience in managing software development programs and projects would be an added advantage.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban, and experience in applying them in project management would be preferred.
- Familiarity with software development tools and technologies, such as version control systems, issue tracking systems, and project management software would be preferred.
- Excellent project management skills, including project planning, risk management, issue resolution, and project reporting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and customers at all levels of the organization.
- Professional certifications, such as PMP, Agile, or Scrum, are a plus.
- Must have exposure on telecom like transport ,radio or core and project management .
