Job description

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our frozen shrimp and chill crab meat products to hotels, restaurants, and catering establishments in the Kolkata region.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the HORECA segment.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

Product Knowledge:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of frozen shrimp and chill crab meat products, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the quality and versatility of our seafood offerings.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Understand customer needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with clients, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues.

Market Analysis:

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide feedback to the management team regarding market conditions and customer preferences.

Order Management:

  • Coordinate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock levels at client locations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the seafood or food industry.
  • Familiarity with the HORECA sector in Kolkata.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong ability to work independently.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
